May 24- There was a typo in the U14G games schedule for Aug 3rd. Two teams where playing twice and two teams where not playing. New schedule is now posted.

May 21- NDSI games schedules are now posted in the left column. Sorry this is so late but decisions in age divisions didn't happen until a week or so ago. Tough decisions need to be made on numbers of teams, which divisons to merge players, where to play, how many games, etc.

Note that like last year ages U15B, U18B and U18G will have teams balanaced and mixed with kids from both clubs.

U18 Boys only has enough players for two teams, and so we need to decide on game format. Random Pick, Two Captains, set teams.
The boys will need to decide.

May 15- After a review of the registration numbers we will have the same divisions as last year (U12G, U14G & U18G) plus (U12B, U15B and U18B). U18B numbers are low and so game formats will need further dicussion with the players/parents.

Jan 17- All NDSI players (U11 to U18) residing in Scugog should register with the Scugog Soccer Association. Players residing in Uxbridge should register through the Uxbridge Soccer Club. This is required to ensure spaces on club teams are allocated fairly.

- History and Background

The NDSI was formed out of the need of both clubs to ensure the soccer remains active and enjoyable for all players in U12 to U18 age divisions. Due to smaller populations in our northern clubs and the fact larger southern clubs have sufficient numbers to run their own house leagues and don't want to have to travel north, we needed to band together (still under the DRSA and OSA) to form our own club interlock.

The NDSI was named in the spring of 2008. It first began as the Scugog/Uxbridge inter club divisions in 2007 after both clubs moved out from under the DBSL and DGSL in the U12 to U18 divisions. In 2008 the U16B and U18B divisions where combined and added as the U18B division. Boys are now in division U12, U15 and U18 for a better balance of numbers.
