Coaching is a rewarding experience for both yourself and the kids! Parent Coaches are of vital importance to our programs at Scugog Soccer.
Our coaches provide supervision, guidance and encouragement for our young athletes. The coach role requires a 1 to 2.5 hour committment weekly during the season. Practices are run under the direction of our Master Coach, Chris Hill. Parent involvement is sometimes required during drills and always required for encouraging players during the game!
Youth Coaches are welcome and encouraged to apply, we are happy to sign for Community Service Hours!
Coaches meetings will be held in May before the season starts. These are vital to the season running smoothly and everyone being on the same page. All Parent Volunteers assuming Coaching/Assistant Coach roles (U4-U18) are requested to attend our annual Coach Meeting. Our coaches in the past have found to Coaches Meetings to be a great help to their season.

U4, U5, U6 - Monday May 8, 630pm at Scugog Fields

Scugog Soccer Association employs a Master Coach, Chris Hill. Chris works with all coaches to guide them and all players to instill confidence, skill and team work. If you have any questions for Chris, he can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org
Coaches Manuals will be given to each coach at the start of the season. For more ideas on drills and practice ideas, please click below for weekly OSA approved ideas.
All coaches are required to submit a Coach Application and Disclosure Agreement. These documents must be filled prior to the start of each season. As of 2016, Police Checks are no longer required for Coaching at the Recreational level. Please click below for a PDF copy of the Application.
